The aim of the course is to acquaint the non-technical background graduate students with the fundamental theory and techniques engineering mathematics. This will be achieved by teaching fundamental theory as well as application based homework using MATLAB tool. The course covers subjects like Basic Calculus (Functions, Continuity, Integrals, Derivatives, Sequences, Series, Differential equations and their numerical implementations); Linear Algebra; Optimization; Fourier Transformation; Fundamentals of Signal processing and Filtering.

Internet Üzerinden Bilişim Yüksek Lisans Programı (ION)

Internet Üzerinden Bilişim (ION) Master programı , Bilişim Sistemleri Master programı ile benzer içerikte olup uzaktan eğitim amacı ile hazırlanmıştır.  Dersler sınıf ortamından bağımsız olarak yürütülmekte ve katılım sadece Internet üzerinden gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu yüzden düzenli kampüs saatlerinde derslere katılamayan ve yüksek lisans eğitimlerini kendi hazırladıkları programa göre devam ettirmek isteyen öğrencilere esnek bir alternatif sağlamaktadır.

Bilişim Sistemleri Yüksek Lisans Programı

Tüm sektörlerde bilişim teknolojilerinin ve sistemlerinin yaygın kullanımı, bu tür sistemleri geliştirecek ve kullanacak bir işgücü gereksinimi yaratmıştır. Sağlık bilişim sistemleri, yönetim bilişim sistemleri, coğrafik bilişim sistemleri ve komut-denetim-iletişim sistemleri, bu tür uygulamalardan yalnızca birkaçıdır.

Kimler Başvurabilir?

Farklı disiplinlerden gelen öğrenciler teşvik edilmekle birlikte bilgisayar programlama, veri yapıları, olasılık ve istatistik ve iş yönetimi için temel bilgilerin gerekliliği vurgulanmaktadır. İlgili derslerden oluşan bilimsel hazırlık programı yeni giriş yapan öğrencilerin lisans üstü seviyesinde dersleri almadan önce hazırlıklarını tamamlamaları için bulunmaktadır.

Mezuniyet Gereksinimleri

Bütün öğrenciler Bilişim Sistemleri, Veritabanı Kavramları, Bilgisayar Ağı, Yazılım Mühendisliğinin temel yönlerini kapsayan  5 zorunlu ders almak zorundadır. Bilişim Sistemlerindeki seçmeli dersler üç alanda gruplanmaktadır: Teknoloji, Yönetim ve Bilişim Sistemleri Alanı. Öğrencilerin disiplinlerarası bilgi düzeylerini geliştirebilmeleri için, zorunlu derslerin yanı sıra bu alanlardan üç seçmeli ders almaları da gerekmektedir. Seçmeli dersler, bu alanların birinde uzmanlaşmak için alınmalıdır.

Bilişim Sistemleri Doktora Programı

Bilişim Sistemlerinde doktora programı disiplinlerarası yapısından dolayı öğrencilere çok çeşitli araştırma konuları sunmaktadır. Öğrenciler bilgi birikim alanlarını genişletme şansına ve bu alanlardan birinde derin çalışma özgürlüğüne sahiptirler.

Mezuniyet Gereksinimleri

Programdan doktora derecesi alabilmek için öğrenciler yüksek lisans ve doktora eğitimleri süresince toplam en az 16 ders almak zorundadır. Bir yüksek lisans veya başka bir doktora programı kapsamında alınan derslerin zorunlu veya seçmeli dersler yerine sayılması danışmanın istemi ve akademik kurulun onayı ile gerçekleşebilir. Bu kapsamda doktora programına saydırılacak dersler toplamı 8 dersten çok olamaz^[1*].

Yazılım Yönetiminde (YY) Yüksek Lisans

Yazılım Yönetimi Yüksek Lisans Programı Türkiye’de yazılım alan bilgisine yönelik olarak oluşturulan ilk programdır. Programın amaçları; Türkiye’de yazılım uygulamalarının gelişimine öncülük etmek, yazılım sistemlerinin yönetimi ve oluşturulması için gerekli olan prensipleri, süreçleri, yöntemleri ve teknikleri yaymak ve bu alanda öncü uzmanlar ve bilim insanları yetiştirmektir. Programın ana hedef kitlesi yazılım alanındaki uzmanlardır.

The objectives of this program are to lead the advancement of software practice in Turkey, to disseminate the domain knowledge on principles, processes, methods and techniques required to manage the development and evolution of software systems, and to bring forth experts and scientists in this field. The program targets professionals in the field.

M.S. in Software Management (SM)

Software Management M.S. programme is the first program established in Turkey to target specialized software domain knowledge. The objectives of this program are to lead the advancement of software practice in Turkey, to disseminate the domain knowledge on principles, processes, methods and techniques required to manage the development and evolution of software systems and to bring forth experts and scientists in this field. The program targets professionals in the field. The students in the program will gain the ability to systematically define and use the knowledge on software development processes, methodologies, techniques and metrics. Students are also involved in a realistic team project to integrate the knowledge and experience built up in specialized courses.

Who may apply?

If you would like to apply Software Management Program, you are required to have at least one year working experience in software industry if you do not have a computer engineer degree.

Degree Requirements

Software Management is a nonthesis program. The students enrolled in the program are required to take four core courses and seven electives. The elective courses are divided into two categories as Software category and Software Domains category. Software category includes courses related to software management and software product engineering. Students need to take at least four courses in this category. Software Domains category includes courses on computing foundations and software application areas. Students can take up to three courses from this category. The students can also take courses from other programs such as MS in Modeling and Simulation (MODSIM) and MS in Informatics Online (ION) as Software Domains electives. No prerequisite courses are specifically required to enter the program. However, the students are expected to have background knowledge on discrete mathematics and numerical methods, programming and algorithms, and management. Applicants who do not have a degree in computer science or engineering are expected to have some industrial experience.
