Dr. Alptekin Temizel is the Middlesex University Link Tutor and the coordinator of Work Based Learning Studies Master's Programme.

His research interest areas are: image and video processing, image and video compression, video surveillance, computer vision and software design and development.

• Ranked 68th among 29,963 applicants with respect to quantitative score and 44th respect to verbal score in country-wide (Turkey) postgraduate education entrance examination in Ranked 84th among 1,164,708 participants in country-wide (Turkey) centralised test for university entrance in 1994.
